You’ve studied Spanish. So why are conversations still so hard?
You’ve got pages upon pages of completed grammar exercises…
An Anki deck teeming with words you “know”…
A stack of books you’re starting to understand…
But real conversations are still stressful, slow and often discouraging.
You’re not alone. I was there for a long time myself as a Spanish learner. And every week, students tell me things like:
- “I’m B1 on paper but I struggle to put it into practice when I speak”
- “I get lost when the other person goes “off script”
- “The more I study, the more I freeze up”
- “Colombians sound clear, but I can’t understand my neighbors in Panama”
- “My conversations feel stiff and I can’t show my personality”
- “I can’t remember vocabulary when I actually need it, so I clam up when it’s time to talk”
- “But I trip left and right over which verb tense to use”
- “I freeze, then replay in my head what I could have or should have said.”
- “I can read well and understand slow speech, but can’t keep up with how fast regular people speak”.
These challenges can keep you from experiencing the joy, connections, and adventures that Spanish fluency can bring.
What if Spanish conversations felt effortless?
¡Hola! If you don’t know me, I’m Connor. I grew up in North Carolina knowing zero Spanish. So I know exactly how it feels to get tongue-tied, “think in English”, and struggle to keep up with fast native speakers.
One of the biggest mistakes I made while learning was not preparing myself for real conversations.
I thought that I could only get fluent if I collected enough vocab and grammar, and then moved abroad.
Fortunately, building confident conversation skills doesn’t have to be complicated or stressful.
It just requires practicing in a way that looks and feels as much like a real conversation as possible.
When you do that daily, your Spanish conversations can become fun, easy to understand, and full of your personality.
You’re not learning Spanish just to nod along
You didn’t spend all this time learning Spanish just to sit on the sidelines or default back to English.
You want to jump in.
To tell your stories with personality.
To make jokes with the people you meet.
To connect with your friends, neighbors or coworkers without feeling like a “50% version” of your real self.
To stop sitting silently around your Spanish-speaking family
To feel like part of the community, not another gringo tourist.
You want to be able to USE the Spanish you’ve worked so hard to learn, and feel comfortable doing so.
That’s what Spanish in Action is about. If you’re ready, join us below.
Introducing:
Spanish in Action
The program that transforms your Spanish conversations in 30 days.
You’ll learn to:
- Understand a wide variety of different accents, speeds and ways of speaking so you can connect with anyone
- Speak coherently and stop going blank by following clear structures
- Use a collection of “Fluency Templates” pulled from authentic native speech
- Get instant, targeted feedback so you can reduce mistakes and speak more precisely
- Build the skills and confidence you need for real conversations, without pressure or stress
How it works
📅 Starts on Sept 28th, 2026, and will run (self-paced) for 4 weeks. Can’t start then? That’s ok — you can join and start whenever you want. You’ll have lifetime access.
You’ll follow these three simple steps, and all you need is 30–45 minutes a day.
Escuchar
Listen to a native Spanish speaker answer a real conversational question. The responses are brief (1–3 minutes) and come from 12 speakers with different accents, backgrounds and ages. You get a quick vocabulary reference first, then listen once for the main ideas.

Analizar
Listen again, this time analyzing the transcript. What did you miss the first time? What expressions do you want to remember? Each lesson also includes a short grammar note based on one useful piece of language from the native response.

Responder
Now it’s your turn to answer the same question. In each lesson, you get a framework for organizing your ideas, useful language to adapt, and a clear speaking process. Then you speak, get instant feedback, practice one mistake, and move on.

Your daily routine
Spanish in Action is self-paced, so you can take all the time you need. Inside, I suggest two tracks based on your time available: 30 days and 60 days. Either way, everything is laid out for you so you push yourself to improve with a clear structure — no more scattered learning
What’s waiting for you on the inside:

30 guided lessons
Thirty opportunities to listen, analyze and speak about real conversational topics.
Real native Spanish
Short responses from 12 speakers across the Spanish-speaking world — different accents, vocabulary and ways of expressing everyday ideas.
Complete lesson guides
Each lesson includes a transcript, suggested vocabulary, a grammar note, speaking instructions, a speaking framework and a fluency template.
Speaking frameworks
We’ll use simple structures like PREP, CARA and SOAR that help you stop freezing and start speaking clearly and coherently. It’s like having a GPS that guides each step so you can tell stories, express opinions and describe anything without going blank.
Fluency templates
Useful chunks of native Spanish to adapt, rehearse and make into your own “Moments of Fluency.”
Feedback assistant
Upload your recording and get instant, targeted feedback on what you did well, recurring errors, and what to prioritize next.
Before-and-after proof
You’ll record a baseline on day 1 and compare that to your final recording. Instead of guessing, you’ll have clear evidence of your progress.
Lifetime access
This program has a suggested 4‑week pace, but you can go slower and take breaks as needed, or even redo the course later on.
Bonuses
Native speaking analyses
In each module, I’ll break down something interesting or tricky in the way one of the native speakers communicates, so you can apply it to your own speech.

2 live group calls with Connor

Your 24/7 conversation partner
After you’ve practiced the day’s question on your own, you take the same question into a back-and-forth conversation with “AI Connor” — a copy of my voice that actually feels like you’re chatting with me.

What would a month of daily ‘immersion practice’ normally cost?
If you want to make real progress with your speaking and listening in a month, one option is to travel abroad and enroll in an immersion program.
A 1–2 week program can easily cost $2,000–$3,000 dollars before you factor in flights and other travel expenses.
Or you could hire a tutor to speak with you every day. Even at just $20 per session, 30 sessions would cost $600.
And live conversation alone doesn’t necessarily give you a structured progression, tools for organizing your thoughts when you go blank, or targeted practice between conversations.
Spanish in Action gives you a different way to create that daily immersion without spending thousands of dollars or dealing with scheduling headaches.
Plus, you have lifetime access, so you can repeat lessons, go at your own pace, and use the material wherever you are.

Go deeper: the tools inside each lesson
The speaking process
The first time you speak about something is always the hardest. That’s why throughout the program, you’ll answer each question 2-3 times.
Sometimes with a shorter time limit.
Sometimes after choosing one piece of feedback to focus on.
Sometimes with a specific communication goal.
As the program goes on, we’ll use less structure and start speaking more spontaneously.
Speaking frameworks
Sometimes the hardest part of speaking isn’t the Spanish — it’s figuring out what to say. Throughout Spanish in Action, I’ll give you a step-by-step preparation process and a suggested framework for each response. Less for you to think about, less “Spanish stage fright.”
Fluency templates
Fluent speakers keep a collection of handy, adaptable sentence structures in their back pocket instead of building every sentence from scratch. My Fluency Templates are pulled directly from the native speakers’ responses, so you know they’re authentic.
Fill in the blank with your own idea, practice it a couple of times, and you’ve got a fluent sentence you can use in your own response.
X-ray grammar
In this program, we’ll prioritize connection over precision. But, precision does still matter. Good grammar and a strong vocabulary are essential to effortless conversations.
Which begs the question…
If you’re speaking on your own, how do you know what to improve?
That’s why I built an AI Feedback Assistant specifically for you to use in each lesson:
Record your answer on your phone or computer → Upload it.
In seconds, the Assistant gives you:
→ What you did well.
→ Your 2 most important or repeated errors.
→ 5 suggested practice exercises
Think of it like an X-ray: if you hurt your wrist, the doctor doesn’t put your whole body in a cast — they find the sprain and treat it.
- 30 guided daily lessons with real native Spanish
